Swamiji’s tour began in Guntur, in Andhra Pradesh. It’s a business centre. Most Guntur people are hard workers and good businessmen. They have a wonderful Hanuman Temple and are developing one Ashram near Krishna River. Swamiji installed Dashavatar Murti, ten Avatars of Maha Vishnu. It is a very gigantic murti, the first of its kind in the world. Dashavatar Venkatramana Murti.
After that Swamiji went to Germany, to Berlin for a Meditation and Healing Concert, organised by the Datta Yoga Centre Germany. No Indians, only Europeans, Swiss, Holland. That’s a different atmosphere, nearly 30 years they are devotees. And are practising our mantras, Veda and pujas. After that Swamiji went on a tour of Budapest, Hungary. I took 3 to 4 days rest. Canada has a very new, good Ashrama, maybe about 10 acres, forty minutes to the airport. Very nice, big halls. We had good bhajans and program, and one healing Concert also.
After Canada Swamiji came here, to our Datta Centre, our Hanuman Temple. We had ten days of very nice programs here, and Guru Purnima was a wonderful program yesterday, a Meditation and Healing Concert. Now Swamiji is sitting near Hanuman. Then tomorrow Swamiji leaves for London Ashrama, a miracle Ashram. We took a big church and turned it into a Hanuman Mandira. It is very near the airport and the Christians are very friendly, like Dallas Ashram. Muslims are also good friends. There is only one Dharma, bhakti or devotion! Choose any religious practice, but Dharma everyone follows. Even our breath is Dharma, duties, and truthfulness is Dharma. Kindness is Dharma, and practice in the church may be different, but devotion is the same.
The other day, Swamiji gave a description on Path of what is Dharma. Once again you can read. Dharma is not bhajan, not rituals, that is your own practice. Dharma is general, belonging to different religions. But Dharma is only one root, one tree. You must observe respect for your nation, that is also Dharma, respect parents, not rituals. People mix up caste, groups, sect with Dharma. What society practises is different. What your nation practises, human habits is different. Go and see the ten kinds of Dharmic qualities that Swamiji posted. One shloka I always remember gives the 10 qualities: forgiving nature, courage, control of senses, non-stealing, cleanliness, restraint of senses, sharp intellect, knowledge, truthfulness, and not getting angry. If you get angry it is not dharma. You are going wrong. Don’t get angry for any reason. So many people stealing always, even iphones they steal. Courage, don’t be depressed or disappointed. Each quality I want to explain these 10 commandments of Dharma.
Yesterday we gave new mantra. What is it? Shivaaya Rudraaya Namaha! As much as possible chant and sing that mantra. I will calculate the number chanted then will decide when to come to Trinidad from India. Rudra means Lord Shiva. Shiva means Lord Hanumanta. Lord Shiva incarnated as Hanuman. There was an agreement between Shiva and Vishnu that whenever one incarnates, the other would serve Him. If you chant Hanuman’s name, Shiva is very happy, and if you chant Shiva’s name, Hanuman is very happy. Hanuman is Shiva and Shiva is Hanuman. Hanuman is chiranjivi, immortal, everywhere, like a soldier like the sun and moon gods, like a light, invisible light. Light is always visible, so what is this new concept? It means always, everywhere is Atman, that light. Atman is like Hanuman. In Parashara Samhiti, like a Purana, details of Hanuman are given. Maybe tomorrow I ‘ll put in my FB. Maybe when BalaSwamiji comes I will tell Him to explain Sundara khanda, for 5 or 6 days, daily about 2 hours, if you would like. Because I may not travel abroad. I will see which dates are suitable.
