There is lot of joy in Satsang, in namasankirtana (singing the names, the praises of the Lord). Such joy does not exist elsewhere in the world. Experience that joy. This is Pujya Sri Swamiji’s message for you. Today, visit Hanuman Dwarka Mandir, I feel very happy meeting all of you. I have arrived after taking the darshan of Kashi Vishwanath Bhagwan (Shrine of Lord Shiva at Varanasi). Tamil & Telugu New Year, has been recently celebrated. The new year is called, ‘Jaya’ (Jaya nama samvatsara) in North India & South India. Listening to ‘Jaya’, we all remember, Sri Jayalakshmi Mata. Everyone prays for victory. Some work hard for a day, some for a week, some for a year, some year after year, still they are not victorious. This happens because, we think only about victory.
Hardwork & Prayers, i.e. Prayatna aur Prarthana, both start with Pra. Great Bhaktas like Prahalad, got victory due to prayer. This is the message of the ‘Jaya’ Year. This is Sri Appaji’s message also.
Appaji never shows off. He works hard. To establish a temple at Swaroop Nagar (Sri Gam Datta Nath Mandir – 1st Datta Centre at N. Delhi), Sri Swamiji worked hard. Guru has the strength & power to create the entire universe, in a jiffy. Still, He works so hard. Why? To make us do Sadhana (spiritual penance & practice). So that, we attain excellence (Siddhi). Excellence (Siddhi) is Victory (Jaya).
We need quality & excellence in everything – in studies, in business, while sleeping, while eating etc. God has given Guru for our guidance. We must follow the path shown by Guru. This is the secret. This is the message of Hanuman. Lord Hanuman is Jagadguru (Guru of the World) . Lord Rama is Triloka Guru (Guru of the 3 worlds).
Sri Balaswamiji visited Rameshwaram (with Appaji), then went to visit Kashi. There was also a programme at Lord Subrahmanya’s shrine at Nadu Palani (Tamil Nadu), before this. Datta Peetham takes care of the temple at Nadu Palani. (Kashi ~ Kar)
Yesterday was Hanuman Jayanthi. Hanuman Jayanthi is celebrated on Chaitra Purnima in North India, on Vaishaka Dashami in South India & during Maragashira Masa in Karnataka.
Do not doubt, about how many times the Lord is incarnated? He keeps taking incarnations (avataras). Sadguru is born in the heart of every devotee. When you remember God, He is born.
We say, we are very busy. But, we do find time to watch movies, television, gossip etc, except Nama Sankirtana. Such is illusion (Maya). This is also given to us. If Sadguru says, “I am very busy, I cannot come, I cannot protect You.” What will happen? In the story of ‘Gajendra Moksha’, the Lord came after 1000 years to protect the devotee. For, Gajendra, it was a period of 1000 years, but, for the Lord it was only 1 second. It was that 1 second, when the devotee connected wholly to the Lord, it was that 1 second, when the devotee’s heart connected to the Lord. To connect our hearts & minds to the Lord, we must practice daily.
Sri Swamiji can live comfortably at Mysore Ashrama. Still, He travels extensively. Why did Sadguru, establish another Ashrama in Delhi? He did so, to uplift the devotees. Where there is devotion (bhakti), Sadguru comes. Keep doing service, take responsibility. Lots of activities are conducted here. Many new devotees are joining. Share your experiences with others. Sri Swamiji likes when service in the Ashrama is done. Do service physically, mentally & financially (Tan, Mann, Dhan). Do service physically & mentally, finance will automatically come. God has given opportunity to do service. If we take care of the Ashram, Sri Swamiji will take care of us. Take a pledge, that everyone will work together!
I don’t feel like leaving tomorrow morning. But, will have to leave to cast vote at Mysore, otherwise, somebody else will cast vote on my behalf. It is My priviledge. If we have darshan of the Lord at night & go home, we will sleep well. Therefore, it is good to have darshan during the evening. May you all have the blessings of Sadguru. May Karya Sidhi Hanuman fulfill your wishes. In a day, take out three seconds, chant and write, ‘Om Namo Hanumate Namah’ thrice, with all your heart, to get good health & prosperity. Chant the name of the Lord. Chant the Guru Mantra given to you.
I invite you all to Mysore. I arrived & went up to the Gurunilayam to conduct anushtana (Sri Balaswamiji’s spiritual duties). Sri Appaji had called. From a year, we had been searching for a place for Ashrama at Varanasi. Sri Swamiji approved & liked the place, we visited this trip. We performed Puja to Kashi Vishweshwara (Shiva Linga Shrine at Varanasi). I have brought the Vibhuti (sacred ash applied on forehead) for all of you. It is good to apply Vibhuti (Bhasma Dharan). Vibhuti signifies Ashta Siddhi (8 accomplishments).
I know, I came for a day & will be leaving. It is not right. I will come back soon. I seek apology from Sri Karya Siddhi Hanuman.
