Appaji is very happy with Laksha Sri Sukta Mahalakshmi Yaaga. Now, during Chaturmasya, I want to do Koti Tulasi Archana in the month of Sraavana. You can grow Tulsi plants in your Ashrama areas and send the Tulsi dalams in thermocol box (for coolness). You can send it via bus or you can bring it yourself to Mysore Ashrama. We will need a lot of Tulasi. This means you should start growing Tulasi from today itself. First of all, clean and prepare the land by tilling. If needed, change the soil. Go to a nearby nursery and buy Tulasi plants and plant them. Speak to a good agriculturalist and ensure that the plants grow well. You can either send the neat Tulasi stems or the dalams (four leaves – two on either side plus the budding portion in the center is called a dalam). If you send the stems, the volunteers and devotees in Mysuru Ashrama will get dalams out of them. Therefore, from today onwards, engage yourself in the seva of Tulasi maata. After the Koti Tulasi Archana, the leaves will be dried and powdered. They will be used for the Ayurvedic medicine that is prepared in Mysore Ashrama. Otherwise, it will be mixed with the Moolika teertham and will be used for Srichakra Archana. This is the sankalpa. All of you must partake in this seva.
