Speech of HH Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji – Swagata Sabha – December 25, 2025 – SGS Ashrama, Ayodhya
āpadāmapahartāraṃ dātāraṃ sarvasampadām | lōkābhirāmaṃ śrīrāmaṃ bhūyō bhūyō namāmyaham ||
namaḥ kōdaṇḍahastāya sandhīkr̥taśarāya ca | daṇḍitākhiladaityāya rāmāyāpannivāriṇē ||
rāmāya rāmabhadrāya rāmacaṃdrāya vedhase | raghunāthāya nāthāya sītāyāḥ pataye namaḥ ||
Hanuman is the king in Ayodhya, it is with His permission we are doing everything here. So, victory to Lord Hanuman!
Hanuman is our Mukhya (primary) Prana. We are alive due to Prana. With Hanuman’s consent, we are starting our Taraka Mantra Yajna with Nama Sankeertna, Yajnas, Dhyana, Annadana, etc., in this pilgrimage center.
Every place is His territory. In this place, with His consent, we embarked on this Yajna. Like Sri Rama flew on Pushpaka Vimana from south to north, we came that route on the ground.
I could have come on a flight with 40 people, or on a bus with 50 people. But it is very special that thousands of people came with Swamiji. Devotees did bhajans in their own coupes, spoke happily, moved around, walked around, etc. The photos were being sent to Swamiji, I also saw some on Facebook. Very good!
Some even sang a lullaby, but it’s hard to sleep on the train because of the sound. Those who have no body pains will get body pains from the movement of the train and those who have body pains will likely get rid of them.
May wondered how Swamiji would travel on a train for so long. I did not think of it until I was boarding the train. If 10 people comment you have lost weight, you might start believing it. Similarly, Swamiji also wondered how He would travel, but with a desire to get to Ayodhya soon and see Sri Rama, we undertook the journey.
Sri Rama alone is the treasure trove of all virtues. He is the very incarnation of Dharma. Whenever Aydohya Ram Janmbhoomi topic came up, many monks, sages and leaders asked Swamiji what would happen. I said it would happen. Accordingly, Swamiji made sankalpa of Shatashloki Ramayana and did crores of chants. There was also a big test on Sarayu river then. A bigger test in Delhi took place at the Duggal household. The incarnation could have concluded there, but I came back again for you as a reincarnation.
Even at that time, Swamiji inaugurated the Dwaraka Ashrama. Swamiji even climbed the steps to the Ashrama. It all happened like a miracle. Swamiji kept asking for a glass of milk. They were puzzled, but they gave a glass of milk. Right then, the news came of the judgment being passed in our favor. I said then that I was satisfied and My stomach was full. Swamiji’s language is full of code words. It is very hard to understand until much later.
Sometimes people come in grave situations to Swamiji, and Swamiji simply says to chant Hanuman Chalisa. They are surprised at this simple suggestion. If they neglect it, they will not find relief. But if they do, they will get the solution. Swamiji might say to sleep in the ashrama for one day, or He might ask you to visit the Ashrama. HH might ask you to visit, it doesn’t mean He needs to speak to you then.
You must understand Swamiji’s gestures and suggestions. Swamiji will never speak in detail, there isn’t enough time either.
The train that brought us here didn’t have to come via Kashi and Prayagraj. Why did it? I showed you those places right on the train. We crossed many sacred rivers along the way. There is a profound meaning there, but you will realize it all after many years.
There are still some prathishta programs to be done at the Ashrama. It is a small Ashrama, that is fine. You can make use of the Ashrama whenever you visit. Many devotees including Satyanarayana, Kamal Kapoor, Narayana Rao all served very well. May Sri Rama bless all the souls who helped with this Ashrama.
You must visit the Ashrama like you would Ram Lalla. Everyone should not go at the same time – the capacity won’t hold everyone.
Keep in mind that you have come on a pilgrimage with Swamiji. We will try to visit all moksha puris with Swamiji. We did yajna with Swamiji in Kashi, in Srisailam. Many even came to Rameshwaram. Everyone cannot come to every place, but it is good to even hear about it or see the photos after. Be safe in your own places.
Do not eat outside too much, the oil in that food is adulterated. We feel like eating the puris and curry. That will spoil our stomach. Be careful. There’s a lot of fried stuff sold here. Atleast for My sake do not eat the oily food outside. It’s important you be healthy. You should not come here and fall sick.
Swamiji had narrated Sampoorna Ramayana over 40 days – I remained standing for 3-4 hours each day and narrated the entire story and sang bhajans in between, with anklets on My feet.
There were no cameras back then. But Swamiji might do Ramayana again.
